Take a deep breath in and a long breath out, you’ve arrived at your Tuscany Yoga retreat. Nestled in the mountains of this famed Italian region, Senses Beyond 2022 Yoga retreat has all the ingredients to cultivate space, exploration and clarity as you settle into a week that is life-affirming and just a little bit magical.
Led by senior Yoga teacher, Charlene McAuley and assisted by Christoph Seiland, Senses Beyond Tuscany 2022 is filled with what makes a Yoga retreat special. With panoramic views across the valley, we will watch the sunset as we eat together, feel the warm morning sun on our skin as we move and breath in Yoga, and have a growing sense of connection to ourselves, others and earth as we take in what the mountains have to teach us.
Arriving home, each moment
With enlivening yet sensitive Yoga practices providing an anchor to your retreat, each morning you’ll be given an opportunity to feel into yourself, starting the day with intention and a reminder of what matters to you. Beginning with Breathwork and Meditation, you’ll be guided through flowing, embodied Yoga in our expansive outdoor environment with a soundtrack of rustling leaves and birdsong.
Now time for brunch! We’re in Italy so this of course means the most delicious fresh produce to nourish ourselves with. On the brunch table we’ll be serving up fresh figs, cheese, eggs, and bruschetta with aromatic coffee from the moka pot (we have oat milk also!). Your kitchen (one for 3 - 4 people) will be replenished with snacks, teas and coffee throughout your stay.
Explore inside & outside
The afternoons will be open for lazing by the pool, visits to the local village, and on one day during the week, a late afternoon-to-evening meander through Florence where we’ll eat late evening. You are always free to choose how you spend your free time and you’re always welcome to join in group activities.
On most days in the late afternoon, we return to the mat for an early evening exploration. Whereas the morning is a flowing session, the evening session is more workshop whereby we delve into the how and the why. Charlene will lead Embodied Expression and Therapeutic Wonder. Christoph will take you through Dreamwork, Bone Deep Release, and Meditation. All evening sessions will include movement and stillness in varying degrees.
Then comes dinner! With the sunset behind the mountains, candles lit and delicious Italian food - and on occasion Indian - we'll spend the evening conversing, exploring, and just enjoying la dolce vita.
Tuscany 2022 Yoga Retreat Pricing & Payment Plan
A payment plan is available for anyone wanting to spread the cost of the yoga break. Upon paying the deposit, you can contact us to set up monthly instalments on a designated day. The full amount will need to be received 8 weeks prior to the retreat start date.
You can pay the deposit via PayPal or bank transfer (preferred). Outstanding and full payments are accepted by bank transfer only. All payments should be made in Pound Sterling; for those outside of the UK we recommend paying via Transfer Wise as it's a cheaper way to pay into a GBP account.

We wish for our yoga retreat in Italy to be a serene and healing experience for each yogi. Should you have a specific issue you wish to address and would like your self-care experience to be tailor-made, you can have a private hypnotherapy session with Christoph and/or a private yoga class with Charlene. Il Gufo, your Summer 2022 yoga holiday location, is around 70 km and 50 km from Pisa Airport and Florence Airport respectively. As the majority of our guests will be flying to Pisa, we suggest flying to and from here if you wish to share a car journey to Il Gufo; we are happy to coordinate shared taxis on the day of arrivals. For those arriving later or wishing to make their own journey to the retreat venue, you can find out more about travel options on the Il Gufo website.
*The day we visit Florence there'll be no evening meal from the retreat. The day of arrival and departure is one meal.
